Falling for Green. That Looks Black. But Whatever.

I've been swamped at my real-life job lately, so my pretend job of blogging has suffered a bit. I have hardly been shopping at all (although I do have a few things coming to me in the mail) to have anything to write about. One thing I did spring for recently is this new Opi Nail polish Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow. It's part of their new fall Spain-themed collection, hence the stupid name (I'm still waiting for their color called I'm Not Really An Asshole). Anyway. It's a dark, dark, dark green. It's so dark it looks black on, really. I only wear it on my toes, and I'm sure everybody thinks I think I'm soooo the old goth lady in this stuff. But the joke's on them. It's green. And I'm the old punk lady.

I've been swamped too, which really cuts into my shopping and pampering time! I did manage to find a new nail polish myself - midnight blue! which also looks black.

I saw OPI's Russian line come out and "Russian Navy" looked navy online, however at the store, it turned out to be dark sparkly purple. I popped over to the local "we carry it all" grocer and found Sally Hansen Insta-dry in Blazing Blue! A nice Black/blue with three coats! Very nice and way better than purple. (I'm in a blue mood right now.) Totally agree with your black/green toe statement! It's nice to have my daring toes peeping out of my demure shoes. :) Great posts!!

That's so funny! I have the exact same color, the exact same hatred of OPI names, and the exact same polish location. OMG we should liek ttyl b BFF!
But really.
It looks green on my toes but black on my fingers, so I keep it to my toes. I'm sorry you're so busy, because I love your smartass posts

I got the OPI for sephora version of that and it looks black! Kind of disapointed but am getting used to it.

I'm still excited that I jumped on Nars Zulu when Sephora featured it last winter. It goes for like $65 on eBay now, and I have gotten more compliments on that forest green than on anything else I've ever worn (with the possible exception of Chanel Blue Satin).

I'm so straight I love that deep dark maroony hot pinky one in that collection, maybe Manicurist of Seville(<-- ugh, name.) Looks just like one I used in Russian Collection last year.

I definitely picked up this color before going back to ASU and put it on with a swipe of "princesses rule!" (I got this package of pink shades for free with my nail polish purchase from Ulta, yaaaay for free stuff) it looked pretty awesome. The classic color combination of pink and green, with neither color looking like pink or green. Two thumbs up for the punk toes!
